THE BUZZ - MARCH '99

Word on the street is that the Windows v3 bug fix was slipstreamed. Currently shipping software should not exhibit the dreaded "table grouting" problem. Table grouting (the insertion of returns in front of </TD> commands) does not exist in the Mac version of PageMill 3. No word on whether there will be an updater for the earlier Windows version. Best bet might be to call Adobe's customer service line to request a new disc.
The Adobe GoLive upgrade offer is looking sweet. PageMill users can step up to GoLive for just $99. Check Adobe's GoLive pages for details on the upgrade, as well as a nice bundle deal on GoLive, ImageStyler, and ImageReady.

Demo versions of PageMill 3.0 for Mac and Windows are available on Adobe's Web site.
Apple is continuing to bundle Adobe PageMill 3.0 with the iMac. This deal ensures Adobe's right to continue to claim the largest installed base of any Mac Web page editor (with the exception of SimpleText, of course).
And still no sight of any PageMill plug-ins. Opportunity lost!
